Annual Golf Outing Raises Funds and Awareness for Local Treatment Services

Allendale, MI – May 16, 2025 – Reach for Recovery is excited to announce the return of its signature fundraising event, Swing Fore Recovery, taking place at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale. This fun and meaningful day of golf brings together local businesses, community leaders, and advocates to support recovery services for individuals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.

This year’s event features a shotgun start at 1:00 PM, boxed lunches at registration, dinner at the awards ceremony, and exciting on-course activities including a “Beat the Pro” challenge with LPGA golfer Tracy Hanson, Hole-in-One contest, Longest Drive, and the popular Boss’s Best Shot. With raffles, team prizes, and a Best Dressed award, Swing Fore Recovery offers a unique way to make a difference while enjoying a day on the green.

All proceeds benefit Reach for Recovery, a West Michigan nonprofit with a 53-year legacy of supporting individuals on their path to recovery. Founded in 1971, Reach began as a grassroots effort to support those navigating substance use disorder. Today, it operates multiple residential and outpatient programs, offering clinical services, peer support, transitional housing, and educational outreach. The organization’s mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that helps individuals and families rebuild their lives.
