Holland, Michigan – [August 11, 2025] – The Momentum Center is excited to announce the second Homecoming with a Heart dinner dance, a special occasion dedicated to bringing our local community together with our members for a night of celebration and support. Homecoming with a Heart is a fun-filled evening with dinner, dancing, and a raffle. All proceeds go towards the Momentum Center.

“We are thrilled to host Homecoming with a Heart for the second time," said Barbara Lee VanHorssen, Experi-Mentor at The Momentum Center. "This event not only brings our community together but also helps us raise essential funds to continue our work right here in Holland, promoting mental health, meaningful connections, and a supportive community.”

Ticket prices start at $40 and sponsorships begin at just $150. Each sponsor level provides a ticket to a Momentum Center member who would not be able to afford their own ticket. VanHorssen added, “Homecoming with a Heart supports our mission to create a space where every person is fully visible and connected. Donors, sponsors, community members and Momentum members can come together to build understanding and create unity while supporting the cause.”

Homecoming with a Heart will take place in the historic Study Hall at Holland’s Midtown Center, with a buffet dinner, cash bar featuring margueritas, and dancing to a Holland DJ. Holland native, Momentum Center board member, and author Benjamin Kamphuis will serve as the evening’s emcee. A cash bar will be offered. Homecoming attire is encouraged but not necessary.
