New Blue Cross Virtual Well-Being Webinars

As part of our commitment to supporting our customers year-round, we’re adding a new “Looking Ahead” section to help prepare for upcoming themes and employee engagement opportunities. Each month, we’ll share resources and information a month in advance to easily plan employee communications and align internal healthcare initiatives.

February is American Heart Month, a key opportunity to help employers and employees, understand and manage hypertension – one of the most common and costly chronic conditions in the workforce. High blood pressure often goes unnoticed, yet it drives higher medical costs, increased absenteeism and long-term health risks. Encourage your members to share these resources with their employees to boost awareness and education.

As a reminder, fully insured employers and their employees have access to our Hypertension Management program, which offers personalized support for hypertension, dyslipidemia, weight management, and mental health. Employees receive a connected blood pressure monitor, digital reporting, virtual and in-person coaching, and medication support when needed. Spread awareness for American Heart Month by broadly sharing this flyer with your members to drive participation and help their workforce engage in heart-healthy habits.
