Briefly describe your process and timeline for adding new members: | We are currently in the process of building a pool of potential board members. We have capacity to add one or two seats and may do so with the right person. Generally, board terms begin at the beginning of the calendar year. Our process usually begins with a conversation with our Executive Director or a member of our Executive Committee. The next step is for our Executive Committee to evaluate the timing and overall needs of the board. Finally, potential board members have the chance to connect with the full board to get to know the rest of the board. Following this, an invitation to join the board may be extended and the invitee can weigh whether or not to accept the position. Throughout this process, we are happy to answer any questions, meet one-on-one, or provide other opportunities to help discern if serving on our board is the right fit. | |
